In 4 sessions you will learn all the quilting basics: rotary cutting, strip piecing, streamlined assembly methods, adding borders, machine quilting, and simple binding techniques. All this while you make five easy nine-patch blocks and assemble them into a beautiful 34" square wall quilt. This reverse applique technique is fun and forgiving. Beginner class: Whether you've never threaded a needle or are experimenting with a sewing machine or serger for the first time in years, start with one of these classes. These simple, basic classes will increase your knowledge and skill level while you create a fun project.
Intermediate class: When you have completed a number of beginning sewing projects and are looking to increase your knowledge base, choose this level of class. We focus on tools and techniques to make you an even better home sewer.
Advanced class: These classes cater to experienced sewers. Choose these when you want to become familiar with new and advanced types of sewing projects under the guidance of a professional.
Registration: Class space is limited. Pre-registration is necessary for all sessions. Register early to avoid disappointment or the possibility of class cancellations due to insufficient enrollment. Fees must be prepaid and are non-refundable. You will receive a complete list of supplies when you register, telling you what to bring for the first session. Cost of supplies not included in fee unless so stated in class description. Students receive a 15% discount on regularly priced merchandise for the duration of the class. No refund policy: We pay our teachers for a guaranteed number of students. If you register for a spot in the class, the teacher will be paid for that spot. Therefore we have a no refund policy for our classes. If you cancel, we will try to fill your slot with another student. If we are able to do that, we will issue a refund to you or transfer you to another class, whichever you prefer. If we must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we will contact those who are registered and give them the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another course.
