 Beginner class: For those individuals who are familiar with their sewing/serger machines and want a simple, basic class to increase their knowledge and skills as they create a project.

  Intermediate class: For those individuals who have been successful with their sewing projects and are looking to increase their knowledge of tools and techniques to become better sewers.

   Advanced class: For those individuals who are advanced in their sewing skills but want that instructor nearby to help them through that advanced sewing project.

Beginning Sewing

Have fun and learn to sew! We'll make starting to sew (again!) an exciting and relaxing experience. In these classes you will make a garment while learning all about new sewing methods, how to read a pattern, how to alter one, how to cut correctly and much more. We'll introduce you to all the essential notions that will make your new skill even easier. All this under the guidance of knowledgeable instructors, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Foot Book

This class will explore the various feet that either came with your sewing machine or you've purchased with the best intensions but never got around to using. In addition to learning how to use these feet, we will explore embellishment techniques that will jazz up your sewing projects. As a reference for the use of feet and embellishments you will create a book showcasing what you learn. Each session will provide two ideas for projects that will incorporate the use of techniques learned in class. Supply list available at registration.

Step up your shirt-making skills! Learn how to use specialized feet and new techniques to make your next collared shirt more refined. Use decorative stitching to dress up the front band, get tips on making collar points extra sharp, fine tune your edge stitching, learn a better way to construct the collar and collar band and use flat felled seams for a truly custom shirt. Serger Classes

Baby Lock Serger Table Runner thimblethimble

If you're ready to learn new techniques on your serger, then make sure to sign up for this class. We will be making a table runner that utilizes many different serger techniques including serger crochet, metallic flat locking, cool gathered strips and a textured block. The table runner has a very easy lining technique all done on the serger. You MUST have taken the Baby Lock Evolution/Evolve training prior to signing up for this class. Quilting Classes

Beginning Quilting

Learn the basics of quilting while making a pretty wall quilt using the traditional nine-patch configuration to make five easy blocks. This class will cover rotary cutting, strip piecing, streamlined assembly methods, border, machine quilting, and easy binding. The finished wall quilt is 34" square. Quilt Tips

Join one of our most popular quilting teachers and pick up some useful, fun and easy techniques to make your quilts even more spectacular! In this lecture demonstration class we'll explore beginner and advanced techniques for curved piecing. And for just the right finishing touch, you'll learn all about mitered binding, square binding and scalloped binding. Cindy is also going to demonstrate how to use the BERNINA stitch regulator. Imagine chatting with some of your favorite people, getting inspired and being inspiring! That's what Sew Much More's clubs are all about. When you purchase a machine from Sew Much More you are entitled to a year's free membership in the appropriate club. Registration: Class space is limited. Pre-registration is necessary for all sessions. Register early to avoid disappointment or the possibility of class cancellations due to insufficient enrollment. Fees must be prepaid and are non-refundable. You will receive a complete list of supplies when you register, telling you what to bring for the first session. Cost of supplies not included in fee unless so stated in class description. Students receive a 15% discount on regularly priced merchandise for the duration of the class. To register call us at 452-3166 with relevant credit card information or come by the store in person.

No refund policy: We pay our teachers for a guaranteed number of students. If you register for a spot in the class, the teacher will be paid for that spot. Therefore we have a no refund policy for our classes. If you cancel, we will try to fill your slot with another student. If we are able to do that, we will issue a refund to you or transfer you to another class. If we must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we will contact those who are registered and give them the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another course.
